Beautiful Autumn. As much as I love summer. And believe me I do, I am a sun worshipper. I also love Autumn. I love the colours of the leaves, the variation in colour of them. The bright hues, the reds, yellows and ocres. The greens and browns. (Not so much the rain). Beautiful Autumn is a great stamp set to use with these colours.
Beautiful Autumn

This lovely Stamp Set is part of the Gilded Autumn Suite in the new Autumn/Winter Brochure. This suite comprises the most beautiful papers I have ever seen. Gilded in gold Foils and featuring rich earthy tones, together with gorgeous greens. I couldn’t wait to play with these papers. In fact the first card I want to make with this suite features only one tiny pierce of stamping. The gorgeous Gilded Autumn Speciality Designer Series paper is the star of the card.
Ribbon
I love ribbons, especially if they are in a twin pack. Even more when I discover something unexpected when using them. The Metallic Ribbon in the combo pack curls, just like the curling ribbon you use to wrap your presents at Christmas. It is Copper in colour and is so so beautiful.

Mint Macaron is the colour of the basket weave ribbon in the pack. Again this is beautiful ribbon and so so pretty. Perfect for lots of projects.
Beautiful Autumn Bundle
The beautiful autumn Bundle comprises the stamp set together with three matching punches. The punches punch out three of the images in the set, but also punch out some of the printed images in the co-ordinating designer series paper.

My card uses three pieces of the DSP. I love the colours and the patterns in this pack.
On the Crumb cake piece I stamped “have a beautiful day”.
The base of the card is very vanilla. This is not used much with DSP, as many of them use whisper white. The Gilded Autumn Speciality DSP is based on very vanilla. I am so pleased about this.

Stamp three or four of the smaller images each and then colour – using your choice of colouring medium.
Punch out the three that can be. The Maple leaf, the Oak leaf and the Acorn. Fussy cut the pine cone.
Use them to create a wreath on the left hand side of the card and then add a metallic copper bow. Make sure you leave long tails so you can curl it.

Lastly Add some gilded gems.
If you want to see more projects using this suite then check back on Thursday 3rd September to see another project. Then on Saturday 5th September I will be creating an envelope and matching card using this suite. So lots of lovely projects coming up.
