Hello, from a wet Somerset in the Uk. Its July and is supposed to be summer, but feels more like autumn. However there are two little birds sitting in the tree outside singing their hearts out. Such a beautiful sound.
Summer is such a great time to see lots of colour around us. Especially all the different greens. Natures palate is beautiful and so inspiring. Growing up I was always told “blue and green should never be seen”. If you look around in nature though these two colours are often seen together.
Two little birds
Today’s card has two little birds, sitting on two branches ……………. perhaps they are having a conversation …. who knows. Do you remember the Nursery Rhyme about two little birds. I can recall some of it, but not all. Two little Dicky birds sitting on a wall, one named Peter, One named Paul ….
Isn’t it funny the things that the images in stamp sets bring to mind, and the memories they evoke of things long forgotten. Its another great reason why I love stamping.
Birds and Branches gives endless possibilities to the designs you wish to create. With branches, nests, eggs, flowers and so much more including matching dies this set is sure to become one of your favourites.

Pear Pizzaz
Such a gorgeous vibrant green, and vastly underrated in my opinion, makes a great card base and base colour for my leaves. These have been triple stamped without reinking to create the varied shades of the leaves.

The branches are in Crumb Cake. Look at those two little birds. How cute are they? These gorgeous birds are stamped in Grey Granite with Misty Moonlight over the top. So pretty.

Forever Fern
This stamp set is always on my desk. Creating overhanging branches with this set was easy, making the trees look fuller and adding depth to my card. Combing these two sets is going to be super fun and I know I can create some great layouts.
