Hi everyone. Thanks for popping by today. It’s great to see you. I am really excited to be sharing my Sunflower Canvas with you all.
Let me give you a quick update on Gabi. She is much better, and has been eating properly and drinking. Such a relief. She is so loving and really thinks she is a lap dog. (Believe you me ….. she is really heavy)
Do you ever dream about your next craft project and then wake not being able to visualise what you dreamt properly? Last night I watched CEO Sara Douglas using Texture Paste. Its been ages since I played with this great product. When I woke this morning I had half the project in my mind.
Starting with a mask and some ink – Mint Macaroon in this case. Use a dauber to sponge through the mask to give the dots.
Next use the texture paste and a mask to create the raised texture on your canvas. I am using a retired brick wall mask from Stampin Up. I never part with any of these. They are all so pretty.
Lastly spritz with Early Espresso ink all over the canvas.
I then left it to dry for the morning, whilst I prepared the front section.
Did you know it is possible to use WATER in these jars? Lay down the jars on a flat surface – add water – and then adhere Window Sheet tightly to the back. Press around all the edges to create a great seal.. I have added Pacific Point Reinker to mine to give it the deep blue shade.
I love this Sunflower Canvas and am now trying to decide where I want to put it in the house. The Sunflowers – from Celebrate Sunflowers are coloured with the Mango Melody and Cinnamon Cider Blends. They are so pretty. All the leaves are from Forever Fern – in varying shades to add interest and texture to the frame.
Did you know you could purchase either the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle or the Forever Fern Bundle and earn yourself a £4.50 voucher to spend next month with the current Bonus Days promotion.
