Hi everyone. So today is a wet damp grey Saturday here in Somerset, Uk. I honestly had gotten used to the sunshine and being able to live in shorts. Now the long trousers are back on and socks. It kinda feels like autumn. So I though that I would take time to write to you all today. Last night I did my 2020/21 Annual Catalogue Launch – Live on Facebook.
It certainly was not the same talking to the camera, I do miss seeing all your lovely smiling faces, hearing your voices and sharing in your stories. After all isn’t that what life is all about, sharing and connecting and sharing in each others stories. Being in someone’s tribe, close circle of friends, crafting buddy group or sports club, cookery group and family is so important and these days it is stretched and missing. I want to be able to continue those relationships and FB live is one way to do that. Along with Zoom calls and I will be trying out FB rooms.
I would love to be able to connect with you all in as many ways as possible. After all no man is an island, we are all part of this together.
I don’t know about you guys but I am missing days out, a trip to the seaside for that 99 ice-cream. A drive to the moors for a walk and a paddle in the stream. A trip to the cinema. There is nothing quite like loosing yourself in the big screen, shutting the outside world out and immersing yourself in the story unfolding before you on that screen.
