Hi everyone. I am hoping this all finds you well and safe. Todays card is another that has featured in my recent facebook live videos. It is the Masked Under My Umbrella card. I love the masking technique and cannot wait to share it with you.
Under My Umbrella

This gorgeous stamp set is so versatile. Team it with the Umbrella Builder Punch and they are a match made in Heaven, well Utah, to be exact. But hey. When it comes to crafty goodies I kinda think Stampin Up Head Offices in Utah, are my kind of heaven.
Whilst we are talking about Stampin Up Head Offices in Utah and the workforce in Kanab and all over the world, I would like to give a HUGE thank you to all the staff who are working, whether at home, in the factories, the company directors, the offices, the warehouses, the delivery drives etc etc. So from me to you THANK YOU. I could not keep my ladies happy and entertained without you guys.

Anyway back to the Under My Umbrella. I love this stamp set and have used it on 14 cards this month. 10 were in my May Coffee and Card Kit Club packs, and 4 in facebook lives.

How to mask
Anyway todays card, the Masked Under My Umbrella was made by creating several masks out of post it notes. When it comes to masking you always start at the point closest to you, with the central image, (or the one you wish to stand out most).
Stamp you main image and then place your mask over it, then stamp the images you want to either side. Continue this process adding in the images you want, but remembering to mask off all the other images.
The handles for the umbrellas were added in much the same way. The umbrellas were masked off and the handle images stamped so they look like they are going behind each row of umbrellas.
