Hi everyone. How is everyone today. I have been keeping busy creating gorgeous projects for you to look at. Today’s creation is combing the lovely Forever Blossoms & Very Versailles. Don’t you just love the colours in this pretty card.
Forever Blossoms
For me the blooming of cherry blossoms on the trees always brings a smile to my face. It is a sure sign that summer is on its way – and I also love to see it scattered over the ground – confetti from mother nature. Adorable and the petals are so pretty in hues of pinks, reds and oranges. Gorgeous.
So is this Bundle. It has 12 stamps and 18 dies that not only cut but emboss as well. It was definitely one of the first on my wish list.
The dies cut the stamped images beautifully and made making this card super easy.
The colours are Crumb Cake, from the Neutrals colour range, and Petal Pink from the Subtles colour range. Did you know we have 4 colour ranges, plus a further 2 sets of 5 colours in our InColour ranges. Giving you huge choice of colours, plus black, white and very vanilla cardstock.
Very Versailles
Every crafter needs those go to stamps sets for backgrounds and I always recommend the one to my customers. So much variety to give great soft backgrounds.
Very Versailles is stamped in Calypso Coral – using the same inking of the stamp twice. By randomly stamping you can create a lovely background. Don’t be afraid to stamp off the page, turn the image sideways, diagonally or any way you wish.
Colouring
I love to watercolour – using the watercolour pencils from Stampin Up! They blend beautifully.
In my colouring I have donate centres and the bottom of the buds in calypso coral and then pulled the colour out with an aqua-painter.
Lastly I added some of the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon and Champange Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
