Hi everyone. I don’t know about you, but I love the honey bee stamp set. When I saw all the elements in the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set I just knew I was going to do this project. A Hanging basket is born when Thoughtful Blooms meets Honey Bee Stamp set.
Colours
Spring seems to finally be on the horizon and spring colours feature heavily in this basket full of blooms. Calypso coral, garden green and Highland Heather add layers of colour and depth to the images.
Getting creative inspired by thoughtful blooms meets honey bee
The beautiful chain link stamp in the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set immediately reminded me of macrame hanging baskets. When I was growing up everyone had house plants hanging in these type of baskets. The beehive makes the perfect hanging basket – the tippy top layer is trimmed off to give it a flat bottom.
Thoughtful Blooms meets Honey Bee shows an inventive and new way to use the beehive stamp and die – showing that the Honey Bee Stamp set and dies are versatile and can be used in other ways.
The flowers in the basked have been shaped to create depth, and beautiful sparkly gems added to the centre.
This is just one of the cards that ladies have made during my coffee and card sessions. Sadly during this time during the Covid-19 outbreak – my coffee and card sessions have been cancelled.
