This song comes to mind everytime I get this stamp set out its box. Who doesn’t like sitting by the dock of the bay, watching the gulls swoop and sweep, the smell of the salty water.
By the Dock
Or Perhaps you prefer a freshwater Dock of the Bay. Whichever you prefer you can do it all with the By the Dock stamp set and matching dies. They do so much and compliment each other perfectly. No fiddly cutting out with the matching dies.

Layers to change the look
Do you want to create different looks on your cards. I wanted to layer my card differently, and love how this has turned out. It would be great for a fathers day card, a male thank you card or birthday card. Why don’t you give this type of layering a go, to create different looks.
Teamed By the Dock with My Meadow, to give you more versatility. Well I have used only one stamp from the My Meadow set – the clouds. I just love them and they add a pop to every card I use them on.
My card is completely flat with no die cuts -but it could so be stepped up by cutting out the dock, adding the boat and so much more. I was teaching my class to watercolour for this card so we stamped and then watercoloured.

Have you spotted the fish and the frog? These are also included in this set, along with the great birds. These could all be coloured different colours, your imagination is your only limitation.
Bermuda Bay cardstock was my starting point and teamed with Whisper white for the matts and layers I feel it really gives this card a pop. The colours reflected a serene country scene, with lots of watery blues and crisp greens. The cheeky frog adds a little bit of humour to the card, and my fish represent Koi, which I really love. But you of course could colour them any colour you like.
