I don’t know about you but when I think of a tranquil meadow, there is always water running through it and a pretty bridge.
The stamps in My Meadow from Stampin’ Up! have all these elements and more.
Stamping My Meadow is easy
This lovely set of 24 photopolymer stamps make it super easy to layer and create scenes. Whether you need to create for a man or a woman, there is something for everyone. From gorgeous bridges to wheelbarrows.
How to create something this pretty …
First start with a card base that is going to frame your picture really well. I choose Mossy Meadow. This shade of green really frames the image well, whilst allowing other greens to stand out.
Layering these stamps is super easy, and I would suggest starting with the stream first – for this I used balmy blue. The grass would be next, and granny apple green (2nd generation stamping) was my choice. This allowed the stems of grass to be stamped in the same colour and to stand out.
So now we’ve got our base we can add in the detail. Soft suede makes a gorgeous bridge and tree trunks. Early Espresso (or basic grey) fabulous for the wheelbarrow. Top the trees with pretty blossom in Calypso Coral, or green leaves. If you want a wintery card, then don’t add any leaves. The top of your wheelbarrow in a bright colour and then stamp your leaves and flowers.
Lastly stamp some clouds and birds and you are good to go. You could also add the Gazeboo, but thats going on another card for me.
I love the tranquility of this garden. Can you image sitting under that tree, reading a book. I know I can. Peaceful and perfect.
