A member of my downline admitted that her planning skills were lacking. I sat and considered this and thought, hmmm, what can I do to help? Looking through the internet I came across a version of this Accordian Mini Album.
Why this project?
I loved the look of it and immediately knew that it could not only help my downline, but also myself. By creating this in team training I could encourage my downline to make cards to go inside – and build up their projects.
The minute I saw this album (which was designed by Karin De Laat) I knew that I wanted to make it in the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. This would be a great way to showcase each side of the papers, and honestly I love them all.

A different kind of hinge for me to try ….
As you can see the spine of the accordian mini album is an accordian and it is really simple to do. Karin’s tutorial is brilliant and it has inspired me to create other projects.
The Golden Honey DSP has such lovely sparkle. I used just under half a pack to do the whole album. The bases of each page are made in basic black. Because I want to showcase each week’s coffee and card cards in my album I have also created a pocket at the back to keep my business cards in.

I have adapted the tutorial so that my album holds 10 cards in total, which means I can create a whole month’s cards for coffee and card. They are then all together, along with notes for sizes, cardstock and embelishments used. Don’t forget the Golden Honey DSP is Free with a £45 order from any of the catalogues. This of course would make a great present to give to someone, filled with cards and matching envelopes, or even turn into a memory book.
