Stampin Up Fussy Cut Definitely Dahlia

Definitely Dahlia is fast becoming one of my favourite background stamps. But it really doesn’t have to remain in the background. Stampin Up fussy Cut Definitely Dahlia shows how versatile this background stamp is and how much it cry out to be the show stopper on any card.

How to create Stampin Up Fussy Cut Definitely Dahlia

I started off with very vanilla cardstock. I love the subtle colour of this cardstock. Its not a harsh cream colour, but a beautiful summery colour which sets everyone one of the 48 Stampin Up Ink colours off perfectly. It really is one of my favourite go-to card base colours.

I stamped two definitely dahlias in Cucumber Crush, but they were stamped off the cardstock to only give 3/4 of the image on each edge of the card.

I then fussy cut around these, but left a 1″ gap in the middle to join the two together.

Lastly I then stamped in Watermelon Wonder on another Very vanilla piece and completely fussy cut this piece. I then added this to the front of the card using the dimensionals to give depth to the card.

I love the way the colours complement each other and how the shape of the card is so unique.
