Hey folks,
EASILY DONE STAMPIN UP BUTTERFLY BASICS
So this is the first of my 6 days of Butterfly Basics. Easily done Stampin Up Butterfly Basics is a great easel card and is so quick and simple to do, but oh so effective.
Who wouldn’t want to receive this gorgeous card with a beautiful floating multi coloured butterfly floating on the front.
I love the colours in this card, it reminds me of long hot summer days, walking my dogs through the meadows.
The wide selection of stamps in this stamp set makes collage backgrounds for your cards super easy, as everything co-ordinates perfectly. The lovely long ferns, cute postmarks and the pretty little flowers are just some of the ones I used today. Not to mention the cute sentiments. It really is a must have set.
I created my easel base using whisper white cardstock, then stamped with Pear Pizzaz, Melon mambo, daffodil delight, and tip top taupe. The butterfly was cut using the matching framelits. (Whats more you can purchase the stamps and the framelits as a bundle and save 15% – it just gets better and better)
After cutting my butterfly I used sponge daubers and the same colours to create the multi coloured effect on the butterfly.
I really enjoyed creating this card and the ladies in my monthly classes all enjoyed creating this one.
