Hi Guys,
Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath
When I first looked through the new annual catalogue I complete dismissed these gorgeous leaves. It never dawned on me that I could make a beautiful Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath, let alone the beautiful cards that have also been made. All I saw was leaves not potential.
How many of you have been uninspired by what you’ve seen, or thought I can’t use that in lots of ways so I’m not going to get it. I have come to the conclusion that these are the sets that we go back to time and time again. I have loved using these leaves.
I have stamped them, die cut them, coloured them, heat embossed them, emboss resisted them, you name it I’ve done it to these Stampin Up Vintage Leaves. They are a must have.
Heres my gorgeous wreath. I have used Delightful Dijon, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Chocolate Chip in this one. It is absolutely gorgeous.
As you can see I stamped every leaf in Early Espresso, and then cut using the matching framelits. I am so in love with my Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath that I have made two. One for local shop display and one for my home.
To finish off I used the stunning Watercolour Wings. This fantastic triple stamping set is done in Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon. I have layered three butterflies and finished off with Pearl Basic Jewels. Of course, when the seasons change I can remove the leaves – I have made this possible, and then add a winter theme, spring or summer theme as need be.
I am running a couple of classes on these. If you would like to join in please get in touch.
