Wow, what a busy weekend it’s been. I need to get some sleep, but am wide awake.
Perhaps I have taken a little life lesson from one of the characters of my friend Kim’s favourite bird.
Kim hosted a wonderful workshop at her house on Saturday. She and her friends and family had an absolute ball. It was great fun.
There was Stampin Up goodies everywhere.
We got to play with the new Envelope Punch Board, the owl punch, the Truly Grateful Stamp set and much much more
As a demo, it’s great to see friends and family coming together and creating together. There was lots of laughter, and encouragement and much more.
Kim had requested Owls, so this is what they did.
As you can see they also had a play with the Bird Punch and in many cases combined the two, with gorgeous outcomes.
These being Summer Startfruit, Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple, Strawberry Slush and Midnight Muse. This is such a rich palette of colours and brilliant for any time of the year.
Whats more Kim, didn’t stop there. She borrowed my punch, whilst waiting for hers to arrive and kept punching and punching until ………..
She had decorated a much unloved photo frame and turned it into something unique and beautiful. Kim this is gorgeous. I just love it.
If you would love to be able to hostess your own workshop, or create something unique for your home, please give me a call and arrange your workshop.
Alternatively if you would like to purchase any of the items used to make the above items please visit my shop www.crunchiecrafts.stampinup.net.

Sorry I know it ‘s been a week and I’ve been missing in my postings.
It’s been a manic week, with another to come. Be sure to keep checking back to see what’s been going on and what is happening.
Anyway apologies over, lets try and get up to speed ……….
BECKY and JOHN you are seriously great guys and you rock. And what’s more I really enjoyed the break from the Christmas themes that we are all doing……….. your non festive request tested my imagination at this time of year and I loved it. Thanks for giving me a challenge.
Here’s a little taster of last night’s projects,
Can you guess what they were?
Do you know what products we used?
How many different products do you think they used? ………….. Well they used 8 different types of product. All from Stampin Up and all extremely versatile.
Becky had a Stampin Up workshop at her home last night, and whilst setting up we joked with her hubby, John, that we would save him some paper and glue to play with……….
little did I know how competitive they are ………. and what fun!!
Becky and her friends had great fun choosing their favourite products from our ideas book and also joining in the make and take part of the evening.
There were 7 guests and we did this in two sections.
Becky and three friends went first, with the final 3 set to go second. After the first group had completed their gorgeous projects the final three sat down to get playing with some of the wonderful products Stampin UP have to offer. Just at that moment John, reappeared and was co-ocersed into joining in. Congrats John, you are the first man to take part in one of my workshops. You truly are a great sport.
Anyway everyone had fun, trimming, stamping, punching and scoring ………….. lots of papers, colours and glue was used and so much fun and laughter was around, that it really was a great fun night. Lots of the ladies including Helen, Bernie and Jo said they couldn’t do it, it was too fiddly and they didn’t think their project would be as good as everyone else’s.
Oh boy ladies, did you prove yourselves wrong ………… you are one talented group of people.
So are you curious about what they made? ………..
So what did they create ………….
So when I found this colour in our InkPad range in the 2013/14 In Colours I just knew it was gonna be a firm favourite. It brings back fantastic memories of a wonderful childhood.
So what is this fantastic Colour. Well it’s BAKED BROWN SUGAR
I wanted to show you guys two gorgeous cards using this lovely warm colour.
The next card is a great example of Triple Stamping…..
What’s that you say ………….
Triple Stamping. It’s a great technique for stampers. I have matted and layered gorgeous baked brown sugar and very vanilla. The stamp set is Blooming with Kindness. This was my first stamp set and will always be special to me. The sentiment is from the same set. I just adore it
These two cards are very feminine, but check back on next week to see baked brown sugar, chocolate chip, very vanilla teamed with a surprise colour – and a new stamp set………..
Can you guess which one ?
What colour would you like to see with these colours? I’d love to know
Don’t forget that for all orders placed on line you are a in with a chance of winning some amazing goodies if you use the hostess code.
Looking forward to getting your colour suggestions.
I made the pockets inside using the amazing Envelope Punch Board. They were a dream to do, so each month now has it’s own envelope folder. The edges were all distressed using our distressing tool.
An amazing combination that made me smile.
Everyone loves something new: You, me, everyone. And I am loving both of these new things.
My puppy is gorgeous and my grumpy older dog has become a puppy again. I am loving watching them playing and having fun. The camera has been working overtime.
But, what to do with all these new memories. Do I just store them on my computer and forget about them. What happens if the computer crashes and I loose them?
Simple – I have the answer at my finger tips. MY DIGITAL STUDIO
What is this:
Well it’s the fantastic digital crafting programme from Stampin UP! It allows you to create and insert you photos into fantastic Scrapbook pages, Cards, invites and much much more. You can create amazing hybrid projects – so not only can you use your computer but you can add those extra bits we all love by hand, whilst still getting ink and glue on our fingers.
DO you sometimes get everything out with an idea in your head and then find it doesn’t quite work? Do you feel that you have wasted those precious papers and other crafty bits because it didn’t work?
Well then MDS is for you. It allows you to create on screen the image you wish to finish with, but also gives you the flexibility to be able to play around until you are happy. It’s a great planning tool, as well as a designing and printing tool.
