My first blog challenge – here goes nothing …………

Well I’ve read the instructions on how to do this and have found a challenge to enter.

I’ve made the card and hopefully will manage to link to it.

This is my card.  It’s for the LOTV challenge – Thank you.

I coloured my LOTV image with promarkers – colours used are
Soft Peach, Pastel Yellow, Rose Pink, Pastel Blue,Moss, Vanilla, Ivory and Baby pink
I made my flower using the Tim Holtz Tattered florals die, together with a Papermania flower and a small pink sequin.  The lace edge is made using an X-Cut Border Die. The background was coloured with Dovecraft chalks – pastels and shimmers. The paper was a present from a friend.

Sunday’s crafty makes

Hi everyone and thank you for looking at my blog.

It’s been lovely here today, have had a great day, out to lunch with the out-laws, a gentle stroll along the canal – not too far mind and in between some lovely peaceful crafting.  Below is what I have come up with today.

LOTV card.  This was a challenge I set on the Docrafts forum.  The theme – I love you, colour white on white with a ribbon, a bow and three embelishments.  I have made my flowers using my new Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and some stickies glitter glue.  Great Fun.  The image was coloured with Promarkers.

This is a childs birthday card.  I used my x-cute nesting die to cut out the balloons and the party image.  The papers were from the Birthday goodie bag bag in April.

Birthday Girl and Happy Birthday cards . Again these papers were from the Birthday Goody Bag in April.  The design is for the Monday Sketch Challenge on the Docrafts Forum.  The balloons were cut and embossed with my Nesties and the tag is stamped with a LOTV image.

The tatty ted image is has been framed using a nestie die and then mounted onto tatty ted papers.  Hougie Board flowers made and adhered along with card candy and a ribbon.  The backing paper is Hunkydory.
The sentiment is Tulip.

Thanks for taking the time to look. x

A gift for you – tatty ted

I love Tatty ted and this image is just great.  What better way to show someone you care than to give them a beautifully wrapped gift.

The papers are from the Tatty Ted range as is the decoupage image.  I have matted and layered using Papermania Capsule Cardstock.  The ribbon is also from the tatty ted range.

I have used the tatty ted papers and Papermania Capsule Cardstock to create this card.  The image has been stamped and coloured with Promarkers.

The ribbon and bow are made from Tatty Ted ribbon and secured with a tatty ted brad.  I have finished the card off with three flowers with card candy middles.

Violet and Vanilla Tilda

Hi

I made this card for the abc challenge over on Docrafts –

The papers were free with a magazine – I am pretty sure they are Hunkydory.  Tilda and the Magnolia Roses are coloured with Promarkers.  Three square gems finish it off nicely.

Penny Black Baby Card – for George

Easel card made for a friend who has just had a new baby boy – called George.

I used my x-cut nesting dies to matt and layer the image.  The Pennyblack image is coloured with Promarkers and I used Stickers glitter glue to highlight the butterfly and the centres of the flowers.  The bow and buttons are from Papermania.  The pram stamp is embossed with my Cuttlebug. The blue dotty paper is from the Forever Friends Retro Collection.   I stamped the frame and used Tatty Ted Peel Off letters to write George.
