Celebrate You

There is always some reason to send someone a card saying “celebrate you”.  They may have achieved something huge, or maybe even something which seems tiny to someone else, but to them was a great achievement.  Whichever way – Celebrating You is something we can all do.

Sale-a-bration draws to a close at the end of the month and with it will go the gorgeous FREE stamp set I used to create this project (project 1 of 4).

The stamp set is Amazing You and it contains beautiful sentiments as well as the gorgeous images.  I love the flower which can be decoupaged and layered.

Teaming with older products

Dont you just love it when a new product blends perfectly with something you already have.   I totally love the “Whole Lot of Lovely” papers in the annual catalogue and loved the fact that the flower in the Amazing You stamp set matched almost perfectly.

I have also used the free Sale-a-Bration card bases (& Envelopes).  The colours are gorgeous Tutti Fruitti colours and again match the Whole Lot of Lovely paper.

www.crunchiecrafts.co.uk/celebrate-youCelebrate You – die cuts

The Celebrate You was cut out twice, once in Pool Party and once in Peekaboo Peach.  They were layered using Foam adhesive strips to give the dimensional look.

I coloured the flower using the new Stampin Blends, and then again fussy cut and layered onto the card front.

The ribbon is the lemon lime twist ombre ribbon.  Its super cute and so easy to tie into a bow.

I really enjoyed creating this card and the dies made adding such a cute sentiment super easy.

Sprinkles of Life Basket of Flowers

Morning Peeps,

Sprinkles of Life Basket of Flowers

Everyone loves to receive a basket of flowers once in a while, and card makers are no exception.  The Sprinkles of Life Basket of Flowers is a great way to show someone how much you care and bring a little sunshine into their day.

Stampin Up Sprinkles of Life

I used the gorgeous Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder as my base colours for this card.  The clouds are stamped and then punched using the matching punch.  Don’t you just love the sunshine.  Its also a punch.

I really enjoyed making this card, so simple, so quick and just so happy.

Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath

Hi Guys,

Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath

When I first looked through the new annual catalogue I complete dismissed these gorgeous leaves.  It never dawned on me that I could make a beautiful Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath, let alone the beautiful cards that have also been made.  All I saw was leaves not potential.

How many of you have been uninspired by what you’ve seen, or thought I can’t use that in lots of ways so I’m not going to get it.  I have come to the conclusion that these are the sets that we go back to time and time again.  I have loved using these leaves.

I have stamped them, die cut them, coloured them, heat embossed them, emboss resisted them, you name it I’ve done it to these Stampin Up Vintage Leaves.  They are a must have.
Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath

Heres my gorgeous wreath.  I have used Delightful Dijon, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Chocolate Chip in this one.  It is absolutely gorgeous.

Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath

As you can see I stamped every leaf in Early Espresso, and then cut using the matching framelits. I am so in love with my Stampin Up Vintage Leaves Wreath that I have made two.  One for local shop display and one for my home.

To finish off I used the stunning Watercolour Wings.  This fantastic triple stamping set is done in Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon.  I have layered three butterflies and finished off with Pearl Basic Jewels.  Of course, when the seasons change  I can remove the leaves – I have made this possible, and then add a winter theme, spring or summer theme as need be.

I am running a couple of classes on these.  If you would like to join in please get in touch.

Stampin Up Bohemian Dsp meets Wetlands

Hello my lovelies,

Stampin Up Bohemian Dsp meets Wetlands

Some time back I showed you some lovely cards and a bag made using the bohemian dap from Stampin Up.  Stampin Up Bohemian Dsp meets Wetlands is a continuation of this.  I love the colours in it, and it works so well for a masculine card.

Here’s the envelope first.  This is for my Step-Dad, “P”, I made this using the wonderful Envelope Punch Board.  It makes making matching envelops super easy.

Stampin Up Bohemian Dsp meets Wetlands

I stamped the little tag with the birds from the Wetlands set as well.

Next is the card.  I used the same DSP,

matted and layered it.  I then used the co-ordinating cardstock in Blackberry Bliss and Delightful Dijon and the Square Framelits to cut the centre piece.

The very middle has been sponged with our wonderful inks and then stamped.

The inside has a repeat of the front but also has a money pocket.  This is because my Dad had Euros for his holiday spends.

Have you seen the new Holiday Catalogue yet?  No, click on the link in the sidebar to start your holiday craft shopping.  If you havent got your copy  and would like one then please drop me an email and I will get one posted to you.

Stampin Up A Tissue

Hello peeps

Stampin Up A Tissue

A tissue, a tissue, we all fall down.  Memories of childhood nursery rhymes come to mind when I titled this one Stampin Up A Tissue.  But seriously today’s make is using the resist emboss technique.  Its a really cute tissue box cover to match the gift card I made yesterday.

Again I have used the lovely Tip Top Taupe from the 2015/17 In Colours and Blackberry Bliss from the 2014/16 In Colours.  These two sets of colours (10 in total) blend seamlessly together to give an amazing colour palette.

Stampin Up A Tissue

How gorgeous is that.  It fits over a standard size square box of tissues (available in most Supermarkets)  Again I have used the new labels thinlets dies to create my tissue hole and the surrounding trim.

I love the emboss resist technique and adore how the shading with the sponges highlights different ares of the box.  I have used blackberry bliss, tip top taupe and crumb cake to do this.  I have also stamped over the top as well.

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for more inspiration.

Stampin Up Decoupage Bejewelled

Hi everyone.

Stampin Up Decoupage Bejewelled

Todays post is the last in the Dahlia Stamp set series.  The Stampin Up Decoupage Bejewelled card is a gorgeous card.  I really enjoyed making this one and fussy cutting the layers, to create something a little different.

dd & ttt decoupage dahlia aug 2015

As you can see I first stamped the background with Tip Top Taupe.  My layers are Very Vanilla, Delightful Dijon, and then Very Vanilla.  The Tip Top Taupe gives a great contast to the Delightful Dijon and just highlights the Stampin Up Decoupage Bejewelled Dahia.  I stamped this twice onto very vanilla, before fussy cutting both and then adding random Rhinestones all over the centre.

Stampin Up Decoupage Bejewelled

I stamped and punched out a sentiment using the washi tape punch using very vanilla and then punched a second washi tape in delightful dijon.  This was cut in half and layered behind the first one to give depth and add interest.  This was adhered to the centre of the inside of the card.

I hope you liked today’s post.

Don’t forget to check the clearance rack, there has been some wonderful new items added.  Also the weekly deals are pretty amazing at the moment.

Check back tomorrow for the start of my 5 days of Awesomely Artistic.

Stampin Up Tip Top Taupe gets decoupaged

Hi everyone

Stampin Up Tip Top Taupe gets decoupaged

Tip Top Taupe is one of the new 2015/17 In Colours.  Its a very versatile mushroom colour and blends wonderfully with all the neutral colours in our range.  Stampin up tip top taupe gets decoupaged shows just how great this colour is when teamed with great stamps like definitely dahlia and birthday blossoms.

How to create Stampin Up Tip Top Taupe gets decoupaged

Stampin Up Tip Top Taupe gets decoupagedHow cute is this lovely card.  Its made using our gorgeous notelets.  So immediately you’re onto a winner, your base card and your envelopes are all included in the pack and matching.  No having to rummage for a matching envelope anymore.

I used Tip Top Taupe cardstock to create a matt layer.  I stamped the inside of the card and also the whisper white layer with the lovely stamps from birthday blossoms and also the definitely dahlia stamp in the bottom lefthand corner.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.

I then stamped the definitely dahlia stamp a second time on another piece of cardstock.  I fussy cut this one to match how it fitted onto my stamped top layer.  This was adhered with dimensional to give some depth and character to the card.

I also stamped the back and front of the envelope to give a complete matching set.  Imagine giving friends and family sets of notelets like this as presents.  This would also make a great thank you card.  Quick and easy to do.

Stampin Up Double Butterflies

Hello peeps

Have you been enjoying the butterfly basics cards I have shown this week. Todays card, Stampin Up Double Butterflies is something a little bit different.  Its an A5 card, and I have used Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, and So Saffron.  I cut two butterflies using the butterfly thinnest dies and then stamped the front piece of the card.  I left the butterflies plain, but then covered them with with dazzling diamonds to give them sparkle.stampin up double butterflies

I also created stained glass panels to fit behind each butterfly.  The itty bitty butterflies were punched out and made 3d as well.  Its such a pretty card and I know thats it on its way to a customer in Australia as i speak.

Don’t forget to look at this weeks weekly deals, there are some amazing offers.
