Stampin Up Double Butterflies

Hello peeps

Have you been enjoying the butterfly basics cards I have shown this week. Todays card, Stampin Up Double Butterflies is something a little bit different.  Its an A5 card, and I have used Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, and So Saffron.  I cut two butterflies using the butterfly thinnest dies and then stamped the front piece of the card.  I left the butterflies plain, but then covered them with with dazzling diamonds to give them sparkle.stampin up double butterflies

I also created stained glass panels to fit behind each butterfly.  The itty bitty butterflies were punched out and made 3d as well.  Its such a pretty card and I know thats it on its way to a customer in Australia as i speak.

Don’t forget to look at this weeks weekly deals, there are some amazing offers.

Modern Mosaic gets punched and embossed

Hi everyone.
Wow, where did summer go?  I think I blinked and missed it …….. I just cannot believe its September already.  Kids are back to school and college and normal life has resumed.
During the summer holidays I did some extra one to one classes with a few ladies and these are the makes from one of those sessions.
We used, modern mosaic stamps, embossing folder and punch.  Teamed with Love labels and matching punch.
Isn’t this one gorgeous ……. its in early espresso  ………. no really Mum, this is brown not Black !!
The gorgeous love label and chevron ribbon just finish this of beautifully.

Tape it, meets modern mosaic – love this one so cute.  Hello honey and strawberry slush. I have also used the now retired occasions alphabet set  for the sentiment.  Finished the whole thing off with some lovely sparkly jewels.

And how about this one – using the label punch and splitting them to create backgrounds.  I used the chevron embossing folder to create texture on this one before adding modern mosaic centres and those gorgeous itty bitty butterflies.  Cute.
We had a lovely day at class an the ladies really enjoyed themselves.
If you would like some lessons or some crafty time with your friends and would like to do something similar then please get in contact to arrange a date and time.
I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
There is some exciting news coming tomorrow – I am just finalising my plans, so please check back then to see.

Thank you Modern Medley meets Spiral flowers – ﹟Stampin UP

Hi. I don’t know about you, but I love receiving nicely packaged gifts and handmade cards.
So when I have to send a gift and card, I like to make them extra special.
I got together with a friend on Wednesday and we had great fun making these cute boxes.
They are made from Stampin UP Basic Black card stock and then finished with Modern Medley papers.  (These are on the retired list and on the Weekly Deals list).  I love these papers and am really sad to see them go, but I have stocked up n them.
It was a great way to use up some papers and get out some long neglected stamp sets.
Of course I had to use the new Spiral Flower Die.  This is a double flower.  And I finished it off with the co-ordinating butterflies.    The tickets are from Thats the ticket stamp set.  I just love these and never use this set enough.
The sentiment on both the card and the box are from the ever so cute Just Sayin stamp set.  Love this one and it has matching dies so they are always cut out perfectly.
I distressed the edges of my paper using sponge daubers and Basic Grey ink.  This gives it a lovely finish.
This gorgeous box has been CASE’d from my friend Sam.  I have changed the papers and added the rose.  So thanks Sam.
The window in the card was cut out using our Thinlets Dies.  And the frame around the window in much the same way.
I am going to enjoy giving this set away.  It will bring a huge amount of pleasure to someone I am sure.
The products used are below but don’t forget about our amazing joining offer, or the weekly deals or the retiring stamps.    There is so much not to be missed.
