Pretty Leaves and Pretty Plaid are perfect together. So many colours to choose from and such beautiful leaves. I hope you love this card as much as I do.
Pretty Plaids

From the Plaid Tidings DSP. There are so so many colours to choose from. So many patterns as well. I chose 4 different ones that co-ordinated well together. Each was cut to 2 3/4” squares. Two darker patterns and two lighter ones.
My card base is an A4 sheet of whisper white cut portrait at 5 7/8th”. The turn landscape and score at 5 7/8th”. This gives a 5 7/8th” square card.
The cinnamon cider Matt layer is 5 3/4” x 5 3/4”.
I then added the pretty Plaid tidings dsp piece – approx 1/8th” apart from each other.
Coloured leaves
With so many colours to choose from in the Plaid Tidings DSP I had lots of choice as to the colours of my leaves. Using my NEW CUT AND EMBOSS Machine from Stampin Up! I cut the Leaves from
BlackBerry Bliss, Mango Melody, Cinnamon Cider, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Magenta Madness.
I know this sounds a very random mix of colours but they all work very well together are a similar to lots of shades you will see on trees in the autumn.
Not only did I die cut the leaves but I also used the stitched embossing dies to give the stitched look to the cut out leaves.
Pretty Leaves and Pretty Plaid
Using the larger leaves at the back create a wreath shape over your plaid squares, layering colours and shapes to give depth and texture to your wreath.
Remember the gorgeous copper metallic ribbon we used earlier this week. I cut four pieces and curled them before added to my leaves.

Sentiments
I stamped my sentiment in Magenta Madness and punched out with a 2” circle Punch. I then punched out a shaded spruce circle in the 2 1/4” punch These were added to the card with dimensionals.
Lastly add some gilded gems to your card for that bit of sparkle.
Just in case you missed it. Here is the video for the clean and simple card I made using these products.
