Timeless Tropical Sunset was totally inspired by a sunset I saw in Thailand in 2017. Sitting on the beach, watching the sun set, walking along the sand. Using bright bold colours to add depth to this tropical scene.
Creating your Mask
The first thing I did to create the mask to so that the parts of the card i needed to stay white. Firstly I cut a piece of white cardstock to the same size as the front of my card.
Then using the Layering Circles Dies (the largest plain one), I cut a circle in the centre of this piece of cardstock.
Creating the Timeless Tropical Sunset
Using Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody and Magenta madness, and dauber you can create a really pretty sunset.
Once you have folded your card base in half and Burnished well. Attach the mask layer completely over the front of it. Securing with low tack tape.
Using Mango Melody ink and a dauber sponge across the centre of the cut out circle. Sponging over the entire middle half of the card.
Using Magenta madness sponge down from the top towards and over the mango melody
Repeat this sponging up from the bottom in Pretty Peacock. This creates your sunset scene.
Remove your mask and then in Momento Black ink, stamp your palm trees.
Nothing more beautiful than a few starts on a Sunset Timeless Tropical Beach …. to create these I used the Star Designer Elements and the Champanage Rhinestones.
The perfect sentiment for your best and longest friend, this set contains this sentiment.
Our Friendship is Timeless.
Those friendships are precious and need to be celebrated. I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment, and then attached to the front of the card using dimensionals over some bumblebee ribbon.
