Hey everyone. Are you good? I am glad. Do you use Mason Jars in your home as glasses? They are still pretty much the rage here …. and I will admit I have a couple. Love using them but, there is nothing worse than when your favourite drink becomes a spilt drink ….
Jar of Flowers – one for the boys
So many of you have said ………… I’m not getting this stamp … its got lots of flowers … I can’t make boy’s cards from this. Well let me tell you, I have made a boys card or two. A Christmas card and lots of others. This stamp set is gorgeous and the mason jar punch just makes it super special.

Add texture to your project
Adding texture to your project adds extra dimension and interest. There are lots of ways to do this. You can use patterned paper, heat embossing, dry embossing (embossing folder), or even spritz your cardstock and crunch it up before flattening it out.
In my card I have used the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder on my card base to add texture. This is one of the new embossing folders and is a lovely subltle yet effective pattern.
Use the wood grain pattern DSP from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and you have a ready made table to stand your Jar Glasses on.
Punch it Out
Stamp 3 different colour pieces of dsp or cardstock with the large mason Jar Stamp – From the Jar of Flowers Bundle. Using the matching Mason Jar Punch – punch these three out.
Stamp the straws in a co-ordinating colour using the diagonal strip stamp from the stamp set. Sorry you have to fussy cut these.

Work out where you want your falling glass to be. Punch through the Table piece of dsp. Use your mason jar shaker dome. Add some sequins and then pop a piece of window sheet behind. Position one of your stamped jars behind the window sheet and secure.
Spilt drink ….
To make the card look like spilt drink …. add a few sequins at the top of the mason jar over your straw.
Layer everything onto your card base. Use the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon to add texture and interest to your Drinking Jars.
Lastly I stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment and fussy cut.
I love this super cute card and know many little boys that would love to receive a shaker card like this.
